Programs & Instruction

Fiddler's Elbow likes to focus on families.

While we have plentiful programs for men of all skill levels, our golf professionals have created award winning programs for junior golfers, ladies and couples with both fun and skill enhancement in mind.

  • Junior Golf
    • The Fiddler's Elbow Junior Golf Program is designed to foster a lifelong enthusiasm for golf that the whole family will share. Our resident professionals introduce children to the game of golf in an engagingly fun, yet informative style. Junior golfers can learn golf fundamentals, including full swing instruction, short game instruction, proper course etiquette, safety practices, and the rules of the game. By participating in specialized one-on-one instruction, on-course experiences, junior golf clinics, and junior golf camps, they can continually refine their techniques, enhance their game, and advance to the next level. Through the Family Add-On Membership Option, Club members are invited to bring junior golfers and the rest of their immediate families to enjoy playing and dining privileges.

      Junior Golf Development Programs

Jeremy Eccles, PGA Head of Junior Development

Please contact Jeremy at [email protected] with any questions.

      Active Start (ages 3-5)

The Active Start program is designed to provide a golf experience for the youngest junior golfers. Children are introduced to basic golf skills as well as fundamental movement skills. The early development of hand-eye coordination, spatial and kinesthetic awareness, and visualization will put your junior golfer ahead of the curve.

U.S. Kids pathway program (Ages 6-7)

The U.S. Kids Golf Pathway program is an organized and clear path to learning the game of golf while having fun. Junior golfers will learn specific beginner fundamentals and earn pins for their achievement. After successfully earning five fundamental pins per level, the junior achieves mastery status and progresses to the next level.

      Operation 36 (ages 8-11)

Operation 36 is a motivating road map to help introduce and develop skilled golfers. The challenge we set for our players is the score of 36 (par for nine holes.) Working green to tee-box vs. the traditional tee-box to green, lowers the challenge point and is a motivating way to learn and progress the sport.

'Get Out & Play' Program (ages 8-12)

The Get Out & Play program is a fun opportunity for juniors to get on the course with other juniors while being provided the coaching of a PGA Professional. Sports are supposed to be played and no other program provides the playing component with the on-course instruction.

      Play to Improve (ages 12-13)

Introduces training to further develop golf-specific skills based on growth spurts. The Play to Improve stage will navigate athletic and technical skills, development on the course, competition, equipment, and play and practice routines.

GET READY FOR PGA JUNIOR LEAUGE (AGES 7-13)

Get Ready for PGA Junior League  is designed to shake off the rust and prepare those juniors participating in the spring PGA Jr. League. Time will be spent both on-course and on the practice facilities. This is a great opportunity for juniors to make social connections and get a head start on their PGA Jr. League season!

      PGA Junior League (ages 8-14)

PGA Jr. League  is changing the way golf is learned and played through its fun, team-oriented approach. Boys and girls of all skill levels learn and play the game with expert coaching and guidance from PGA Professional Captains, wear numbered jerseys, and compete on teams with friends in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship and builds confidence.  Our  PGA Jr.  League  players receive coaching and guidance from a PGA Professional, organized team practice sessions, and regular matches held within the league. Each player also receives two high-quality jerseys (home and away,) available in both girls' and boys' sizes, a bag tag, performance ball cap, performance tee shirts, draw sting bag, access to the PGA Jr. League Merchandise Store & more!

      Aspire Program (Ages 14-17)

The  Elite Junior Aspire  the program will introduce the golfer to more advanced training principles and introductory level competitions. Each session will offer a variety of technical improvements, and group skill development tasks, along with on-course coaching designed specifically with the new competitor in mind.

      Junior Summer Camp (ages 8-13)

The Junior Golf Camp at Fiddler's Elbow is for those kids who want to have fun learning or improving their golf game. We focus 100% of our attention on golf and fun! All-day camps are held with a highly experienced and certified Junior Golf Coach. We not only build the skills and etiquette you need to be a better golfer but we PLAY on the GOLF COURSE in a fun, social, and creative learning environment.

The Junior Golf Camp is a tremendous program to pair with the Fundamental Camps. Kids will build the golf skills they need in the morning and the fundamental sport development in the afternoon!
