Fiddler's Elbow Country Club Rules

Dress Code

At Fiddler's Elbow Country Club, appropriate dress is required.

  • Bermuda-length golf shorts, not more than 3" above the knee, are permitted for golfers.
  • Shirts must be completely tucked in.
  • Mock collars must have a minimum height of 1.5".
  • Hats are to be worn with the bill in the front. Hats should be removed indoors.
  • Denim/blue jeans, cargo shorts/pants, sneakers, sweat suits and t-shirts are not permitted.
  • Jackets are preferred for gentlemen in the Lamington Dining Room and Wine Cellar after 5:00 p.m.

The dress code is strictly enforced. Members and their guests are not permitted to use Club facilities if attire is inappropriate. As a member, it is your responsibility to inform your guests of all Club policies. Dress code is for men, women and juniors.

Golf

The golf courses are open for play daily March 1 through December 31, weather permitting, except for Mondays from November through March. One or more courses may occasionally be closed at the discretion of management, due to weather conditions or for certain necessary maintenance.

Cart Rules

Conditions permitting, and as designated by Fiddler's Elbow Country Club staff, carts will be permitted off the cart paths. Carts around greens and tees will be strictly controlled and enforced to maintain optimum playing conditions.

Golf Reservations

Tee time reservations are required for members and their guests and will be taken up to one month in advance from the designated member. Confirming your tee time is suggested in the event of inclement weather. Tee times are not required November 1 through March 31.

Guest Golf Policy

For unaccompanied guests on weekdays, the member must make a tee time reservation and name who will be signing for charges on that day. This authorization will be in effect only on the date of the tee time reservation. The sponsoring member shall be responsible for all actions and charges of his or her guest. Members may also make tee times for unaccompanied guests on weekends for either the River Course OR the Meadow Course, at the discretion of the professional staff and depending on availability. The same requirements as unaccompanied weekday play apply.

Golf Policies

  • Maintain pace of play. Keep up with the group ahead of you.
  • Golfers must check their golf bags at the bag drop area.
  • Golfers must use the locker room to change shoes and clothing. Golfers are not permitted to change attire in the parking lot.
  • Please replace divots or fill them with turf repair mixture located in the back of the golf cart.
  • Please repair ball marks.
  • Adhere to daily golf cart restrictions as posted.
  • Golfers must observe the dress code at all times.
  • To ensure that all golfers have an enjoyable round of golf, remember to maintain the pace of play.

House Use Charge

A 20% house use charge is automatically added to all food and beverage checks. A gratuity is not solicited or expected.

Food Minimum

All food and non-alcoholic beverage charges incurred anywhere at the Club are applied toward your required monthly food minimum. Please note that related house use charges are not applied toward the minimum.

Fiddler's Elbow Is a Smoke-Free Environment

No smoking is permitted inside the Clubhouse.

Lost and Found

The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items of members or their guests. Please keep your valuables with you at all times. Lost items that are found will be turned in to the General Manager's office.
